Privacy

This page explains the information used by The Players Room’s free interest list and this website.

Who we are

The Players Room is a proposed indoor golf simulator studio in the Beacon / Fishkill area. This website helps us understand local interest and share updates while we explore the business. For privacy questions, contact hello@playersroomgolf.com.

When you join the list

The form asks for your email address and ZIP code. Practice-time preferences are optional. Your email lets us send updates; ZIP codes and preferences help us understand where interested golfers are and when they might practice.

The signup form is provided by EmailOctopus. The information you submit goes directly to EmailOctopus, which stores the mailing list and manages email delivery. The form also includes a version label so we can identify the signup wording used. EmailOctopus may process technical information about submissions and email activity, including delivery, bounces, opens, clicks, and unsubscribes.

By selecting “Get opening updates,” you agree to receive a welcome email and occasional updates from The Players Room. There is no separate email-confirmation step. Joining is free and does not make a reservation or commit you to a purchase.

Email preferences and requests

You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, write to hello@playersroomgolf.com. We may need to verify a request before acting on it. Unsubscribe records may be retained to avoid sending you unwanted email.

Replies and direct messages to us are handled through our Google Workspace mailbox, separately from the EmailOctopus mailing list. Our marketing emails use EmailOctopus’s Private Address arrangement in their mailing footer; that address is not a studio location.

Signup protection and hosting

The signup form uses Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent abuse. It may process device, browser, and interaction information for that purpose. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Cloudflare hosts this website and may process routine request information, such as IP addresses and browser details, to deliver and protect the site. The signup provider and bot protection operate separately from website analytics. Turning off analytics does not disable the form or its protection.

Analytics and ad measurement

Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel are enabled by default unless you have opted out in this browser or browser storage is unavailable. They help us measure visits, accepted signup submissions and ad performance. We do not send either service your email address, ZIP code, practice preferences or other form answers.

Google Analytics receives limited page and campaign information and may use cookies and device or browser information. Google advertising features and Google remarketing remain disabled.

Meta Pixel receives page-visit and accepted-signup events, along with page addresses and referrers that pass our checks. It may process your IP address, device and browser information, cookies and ad-click identifiers. Meta may connect this activity with your Meta account and use it for ads and other personalized experiences under its own privacy policy. We do not upload our mailing list to Meta or enable advanced matching of subscriber details.

To opt out of both services, open and select “Turn off analytics.” You can still use the site and join the list. Turning them off stops future measurement events from this site and removes their cookies that this site can access. It does not remove information already sent or change your preferences on Meta or Google.

We save your choice in this browser’s local storage and honor it on future visits. We also temporarily store a signup-success record in this browser to count accepted submissions without retaining form answers in that record. An accepted submission can come from someone already on the list; it does not establish a new customer. These browser records can be removed through your browser settings.
